This is actually the racket I use myself, and I really rate it. It’s got a great balance between power and control — light enough to move quickly around the court, but with enough weight to put some punch behind the ball. The slightly straighter string layout gives a nice boost in power and makes the sweet spot feel a bit more forgiving than you’d expect from a compact head.
I’ve got mine strung with SuperNick XL at 22 lbs — quite a bit looser than most people prefer, but I love the feel it gives. It adds a bit more bite and grip on the ball, which suits my style perfectly.
It’s also got that typical Karakal feel — solid, responsive, and easy to trust under pressure. And I like that it comes with the eco cover too. If you’re after a racket that performs well but doesn’t break the bank, the Air Speed is definitely worth a look.
